MCG gets mixed up with Vimto
Soft drink specialist Nichols plc has appointed MCG PR to boost the profile of its no added sugar Vimto range of squashes and ready to drink cartons. The brief focuses specifically on raising awareness and driving trial amongst mums and younger children.
Having built up an enthusiastic teen following for the brand in carbonates with its Seriously Mixed Up Fruit campaign, Vimto has invested heavily in a wide-ranging programme of marketing support for the brand's no added sugar variants for 2012, including coupon giveaways and advertising in women's press. MCG's PR support is designed to communicate that Vimto's no added sugar products offer mums a delicious, everyday soft drink that their youngsters will love.

The new project from Nichols PLC adds to MCG's broad portfolio of clients, which includes Greencore's Weight Watchers range of chilled prepared meals, Thai food giant CP Foods, TaxAssist Accountants and mail order fashion brand Damart.
